On Friday morning we set off by bus to the town of Caldas da Rainha, located in central Portugal. The village was founded in 1485 by Queen Eleonora de Viseu, the wife of King John II the Perfect, and named in her honour. Caldas da Rainha means the Queen's Warm Springs. Once we got there, we were greeted by a beautiful place, full of nature, animals and charming views. Later we explored the city and went shopping to buy some more souvenirs. After returning to the hotel, we packed for the trip and prepared our outfits for a gala dinner overlooking the wonderful Ocean. When it was time for our trip to the restaurant, we were wondering what this place would look like and whether we would like the dinner there. Upon arrival, we were greeted by beautiful sunshine and a wonderful view of the Ocean. So we went to the beach to take some pictures. We also collected some shells as souvenirs. Later we had dinner, which turned out to be very delicious and elegant. After dinner, we went to the hotel to say goodbye to our foreign colleagues. The last day of our stay in this wonderful country will remain in our memory for a long time.
