A sunny stay in Lisbon

The next day of our visit to Portugal was very active . We went on a journey to sunny Lisbon. We visited the Castle of St. George (Castelo de Sao Jorge), which can be seen from virtually anywhere in Lisbon. Extensive buildings, spreading over almost the entire hill, have been towering over the city for over 1000 years. The walls near the castle, which we could admire, were built in the 10th century by the Moors. Then we went to the Cod Production Center where we were introduced to the extensive history of cod in Portugal. The immersive exhibitions inside the center tell the story of fish that has influenced Portuguese culture like no other, from the fishermen who sailed the coast of New Finland centuries ago, to the modern ornaments that grace tables at Christmas and special occasions. The last point of the trip was a visit to the Lisbon History Center. Lisboa Story Center is a tourist attraction of Lisbon located in the very center of the city, which shows the history of the current capital of Portugal in a multimedia way, where thanks to hearing, touch, sight and smell we learned how Lisbon was shaped and what its history was.  We saw how Lisbon developed during the Age of Geographical discoveries. We spent our free time in Miradouro da Graca, one of the most popular viewpoints in Lisbon, and on the beach in this beautiful city.
